According to reports from Tuttosport, Torino FC has officially arrived in Pinzolo, located in the Trentino Alto-Adige region, to begin their intensive summer training camp. The retreat is scheduled to run until July 25, marking a crucial phase of preparation for the Granata under the guidance of their newly appointed head coach, Ignazio Abate. Before departing, the team experienced an emotional send-off during a morning training session at the historic Filadelfia stadium, where over two thousand passionate fans gathered to show their support.

However, editorial monitoring also noted that the enthusiastic atmosphere was contrasted by several protest chants directed against the club president, Urbano Cairo, reflecting ongoing tensions among sections of the fanbase.
Based on the official statement released by Torino FC, Ignazio Abate has called up a total of 30 players for the Val Rendena retreat. Among the selected group is the club's latest signing, Gaetano Oristanio, who previously played for Cagliari. Conversely, the former Sporting Club de Portugal goalkeeper Franco Israel did not travel with the squad to Pinzolo.
The squad features a heavy rotation of talent across all departments. The goalkeeping roster includes five players: Alberto Paleari, Matteo Brezzo, Francesco Cereser, Pasquale Pellicanò, and Lapo Siviero. The defensive line consists of six individuals, notably Cristiano Biraghi, Saul Coco, and Ardian Ismajli, alongside youngsters Manuel Carrascosa, Alessandro Dellavalle, and Mattia Pellini.
In the midfield section, Abate has included high-profile names such as Cesare Casadei alongside Oristanio. The rest of the midfield department is completed by Zakaria Aboukhlal, Wisdom Acquah, Faustino Anjorin, Come Bianay Balcot, Alessio Cacciamani, Marco Dalla Vecchia, Ali Dembélé, Gvidas Gineitis, Ivan Ilic, Emirhan Ilkhan, Zalan Kugyela, and Romeo Sandrucci. Up front, the attacking options look strong with Tommaso Gabellini, Sandro Kulenovic, Alieu Njie, Pietro Pellegri, Giovanni Simeone, and Duvan Zapata.
Starting from Monday, the squad will hold its daily training sessions at the Centro Sportivo Pineta. According to the current club schedule, Torino has lined up three friendly matches to test their tactical progression. The first match will take place on Saturday, July 18, against Pinzolo Valrendena. This will be followed by a test against Alcione Milano on Wednesday, July 22. The summer retreat will conclude on Saturday, July 25, with a final friendly match against Lega Pro side Cittadella before the team returns home.
